ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SALES

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Experienced senior level hotel sales role that reports directly to the Director of Sales
  • Responsibilities include managing and leading the Banquet Sales team as well as managing select key accounts
  • The ADOS responsibilities include but are not limited to the mentoring and training banquet sales staff, leading banquet sales meetings, involvement with the annual business plan process, forecasting, , report analysis, customer entertainment, community involvement and networking
  • This position may be required to serve as Director in the absence of the Director of Sales.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 3-5 years previous sales experience, PREFERABLE IN Banquet/ Catering Sales
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge, supervisory experience, and able to train and monitor the process of sending referrals, setting traces and profiling accounts
  • Excellent customer relations, communication, presentation and organization skills of utmost importance
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field

SALES COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Hotel catering sales coordinator is an administrative role that supports the catering sales office, which oversees and executes on-site business meetings and social events including wedding receptions
  • Core components of the position include relationship building and account management. Specific duties may include assessing client needs and strategic planning to meet revenue goals
  • Hotel catering sales coordinators may also draft proposals, negotiate deals and work within client budget constraints
  • This job involves regularly scheduled hours in an office setting, but coordinators may work long or irregular hours leading up to an event

MARKET ANALYST COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To assist Revenue Manager to implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analysing sales forecast
  • Prepares marketing report by collecting, analysing and summarizing sales data
  • Support the sales team by providing market intelligent; sales data, market trend, forecast, account analysis and new product information
  • Monitors budget by comparing and analysing actual hotel sales performance with strategies and forecast
  • To assist Revenue Manager in managing the online distribution channels and to work closely with PR team to ensure the web content are constantly up-to-date.
